What was the highlight of Marigot Bay Resort and Marina
Outstanding. The resort's website and pictures do not capture its charm. This place is delightful!
Marigot Bay was exceptional and exceeded our expectations in every way. My wife and I visited the resort for one week for our honeymoon. We think this resort is a hidden gem on the island and far exceeds the alternatives. Upon arriving at the resort we were immediately greeted with exceptional hospitality. A host served us rum cocktails, their staff took our bags, and a warm receptionist gave us a guided tour of the resort. The resort has the appearance of a terraced, treehouse spa, with three-story buildings nestled in the hills, surrounded by lush, Caribbean growth, and with rooms accessible by winding stairways and wooden catwalks. The architectural design is brilliant, giving you the simultaneous feeling of privacy and an uninhibited view of the Bay, the surrounding hills, and the ocean. The rooms are spacious and luxurious, giving plush, 5-star quality in what feels more like a condominium than a hotel room. Our room had a living room, a kitchen, an enormous bedroom, a spacious bathroom, and private patios with chairs for lounging. The resort's amenities were also fantastic. There is a restaurant by the pool (with a sumptuous buffet breakfast every morning), a "rum cave," a swim-up poolside bar, and a bar by the marina, which serves an incredible BBQ once a week, complete with live music. And there are two other local restaurants nearby that are clean and offer good food. We were perpetually impressed by the service and quality of the food. We also enjoyed the resort spa, the resort's local beach, and a private "treehouse dinner" in a treehouse veranda. The dinner involved meeting with the chef beforehand to select a specialized menu, being served in a romantic setting by a personal (and well-trained) waiter. Finally, the staff was so kind, offering us complimentary items and deals throughout (included a combined Soufriere tour and miniature sunset cruise for a single price). The whole time we felt like VIPs. We could say more.
There was nothing we didn't like about Marigot Bay! The resort was a magical experience from start to finish. We would strongly recommend it to anyone looking to visit St. Lucia, whether for a honeymoon or some other luxurious trip with friends and family.

What was the highlight of Marigot Bay Resort and Marina
Bauriful resort; fantastic location and food
This was the best resort of our two weeks in the Caribbean in which we changed hotels every night visiting 5 islands. The location was spectacular, the swimming pools huge, the view of the boats and bay was beautiful, and the landscaping was filled with flowers, blooming bushes and palm trees. The room was really nice, containing every thing one needed with a great air conditioner and ceiling fan. Our view from 1122 of the pool and marina was like a postcard. Also, the food was terrific and the price was reasonable for what you pay. It was also fun to take the free ferry to the small beach and to eat lunch at Dolittles. We liked it so much that we cancelled our nonrefundable room at another resort and are returning tomorrow for our last night on St. Lucia.

A Special Place
Very cozy, elegant and old fashioned (in a good way), set up in a beautiful bay, one of the most beautiful I've ever seen. Tranquil, relaxed, simply beautiful. Many restaurants and bars, swimming pools, a marina (with customs service), spa and gym. Ferry service to a small beach just a minute away (complimentary to guests). Very good breakfast. Friendly and professional staff. Many smiling people. A place to remember.

Lovely relaxing resort
Everything really, very relaxing, good standard of food and drinks, accomodation was lovely and the staff friendly and genuinely cared.
There is only a tiny beach accessible via a boat, to get to a good beach is quite expensive
